STAUNTON — A scrape that nipped the tail of an "E" on one of Staunton's new black-and-white police cars sparked a small Facebook flurry of speculation this week about spelling skills in the city police.
But fear not, Staunton. The missing inch of decal that turned an "E" into an "F" has been restored.
"We weren't going to take a car off the road because of a scrape," explained police department spokeswoman Lisa Klein.
